Today let me tell you how to set goals for exam scores! Specifically all those exams we take to get into University or Grad School. The ACT, SAT, MCAT, DAT, LSAT, GMAT... all those tests only referred to by their initials.

When you sign up for one of these tests there is a lot that goes into getting your desired score. But first off you need to know what your desired score is! Check out my main steps to your desired score here.

Here's how to set the perfect exam score goals!

3 simple steps:

First, you need to research to find out what scores you need to get into the schools of your choice. Choose your top 2-3 schools and find their median accepted score for an applicant with your GPA. The highest score of those 2-3 is your starting point and most important point for setting the right goals.

Next look in to scholarship opportunities for those schools based off entrance merit. See if there is one you want to shoot for, I suggest shooting for several points above the required score for your desired scholarship. Give yourself some breathing room! This score will be higher than the acceptance score so now you have a score goal range. Your goal range is from a few points above what you need for acceptance to a few points above the scholarship score.

Ok, you now have your goal range, but let's be real! If it were just about making a goal, your goal would be a perfect score, however this is about setting a goal that you can reach. Start with taking a practice test or quiz, then look at how much time you have to raise that score. Choose a goal within your range that you feel you can reach in the time you have.

There you have it, exam goals in three simple steps!

Next make a schedule using these tips & tricks.

Happy Studying! And best of luck on your exam!!!
